Flipline Terms of Service
Effective 2026-07-26 · revised 2026-10-05
The app
Flipline is a tool for tracking a personal reselling operation: sourcing, valuing, inventory, listing workflow, and bookkeeping. It runs on your device with your data.
No advice
Numbers in Flipline — value estimates, deal scores, margins, tax set-asides, Schedule-C-shaped exports — are informational tools, not financial, legal, or tax advice. Verify prices, item authenticity, and tax treatment yourself; consult a professional for tax filings.
Photo identification, safety and recall warnings, and resale checks can be wrong or incomplete. AI can misname an item, and a recall or can't-resell check only covers what its source lists. A missing warning does not mean an item is safe or legal to sell. Check before you buy, list or ship.
Your accounts and keys
Third-party connections (marketplace APIs, AI providers) use credentials you create and own. You are responsible for those accounts, their fees, and complying with each provider's terms. Flipline only ever calls official APIs with your keys at your request, and never automates your marketplace accounts without an explicit action from you.
Your data, your responsibility
All data is stored locally on your device. Use the built-in backup; device loss without a backup means data loss. We have no copy.
Acceptable use
Don't use Flipline to violate marketplace rules, scrape services, or misrepresent items you sell.
Warranty and liability
Flipline is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plantburgh LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or damages arising from use of the app, including decisions made from its estimates.
Changes
Terms may be updated with app releases; continued use after an update is acceptance.
